Wellington, North Island

Sitter naa paa turistkontoret i Wellington etter vaat fergetur over fra soroya! Men tenk! her skinner faktisk sola akkurat nu :-> Vi overnatta i "bushen" inatt - og regnet og vinden hamret og slet i bilen hele natta gjennom, makan! Ingen bilder siden sist: regnvaer og mange mil i bil er en god prevensjonsmetode mot fotografering... Naa skal vi ut paa sightseeing i storbyen, ca 200.000 innbyggere er det her, typisk storby, kunne vaert hvorsomhelst! Te Papa-museet staar forst for tur - nasjonalt museum for bl.a. maorikultur. Saa faar vi se hva som skjer - og hvor neste blogging finner sted :) Da forhaapentligvis med bilder! :)Mettes kamera nektet aa virke i dag morges - sannsynligvis pga hoy fuktighet!? Fiin helg onsker vi for dere alle kjaere!
Dave comes from a nice town, though our visit there was rather wet... ;)We tried to visit the Founders Park, but when we got there it was closed :( Then we drove towards Picton and camped "out in the bush" until we could board the ferry this morning. It's rained at least 100 mm during the night ;)and the winds were shaking the car! But now we're on North Island and the sun is shining, slightly :)Wishing you a nice weekend for the flower show - sounds fun!:)We'll probably try to visit the Martinborough wine and food festival tomorrow - hoping the weather will be ok!
